I decided to use one of my new bugaboo images called Tequila Ruby, I have used some backing papers i bought from scrap booking mad for only 50p a bargain, Ruby is coloured in with pro markers, i have added some glamour dust to her dress and earrings and some white sakura souffle pen to her buttons on the boots, and a sakura glitter pen to give her drink some sparkle. I used a embossing folder for the white floral strip at the bottom and added some hot pink pearls, and finally a white ribbon with some pink gems attached, the sentiments at the top and bottom is computer generated. Mo challenge #41

I am entering this in Mo's challenge 41 paper piecing. I have stacked some forever friends papers onto some navy card and put them onto the card first, then added some baby blue ribbon and attached a 'love' charm to this, followed by some blue star buttons. I have coloured the image called 'sumpin's wrong' with my pro markers then used some blue paper to piece the trousers on his head. Chalked around the image in blue and added a heart button with some twine and a couple of blue pearls. The sentiments are computer generated. Many thanks.

Golf card

I love how this card has turned out. I am trying to experiment with new ideas and i am not that confident when i do a masculine card as i feel i have to add embelishments all the time to fill in the gaps. But i like the look of this card. I have used another of Mo mannings images called ' the big guy golfing', I have coloured him with pro markers, chalked the sky and grass areas. I used a clear star sakura pen for the metal of the club, and a sakura brown glaze for the handle of the club, and a sakura white glaze pen for the golf ball. I can't remember where i got the male themed papers as i have had them a while and i am trying to use up what i have bought. I have added a love charm and the sentiments are computer generated.

Forever friends 18th card

This card i did for my friend Linda, she's probably my best customer. She wanted champagne on her card in some form so i decided on a forever friends image. I have used an image from the forever friends collection. jazzed him up with sakura glaze to make the bottle look like a glass bottle and some gold sakura metallic pen for the foil on the bottle and some glamour dust for the champagne coming out of the bottle. The 18 sentiment is from a set i bought from printable heaven, i added the ribbon from my stash and added some gems to this. The flower and button at the bottom are from my stash also. Sentiments are computer generated.

Mo Manning challenge 40 Masculine theme

This card is for my little godson Joe, he loves the seaside, i thought i would enter it in Mo's masculine challenge also.
I have used backing paper from my stash, Coloured the image 'sandcastle' by mo with pro markers and chalks, 3d'd the bucket handle and cup with sakura glaze pens, added the buttons, the sentiments are computer generated.

Lillies

I have made this card for my friend Pam, it's for her mum, I have done a beige ~ brown & cream colour theme. The paper is from a local shop 20 sheets for 49p what a bargain. I computer generated the paper with the text on and the sentiments. I have used some calla lillies i had left over and made a pearl spray to go in the middle of them. attached this with a bit of silicone glue. Added a bow and a love charm. I used my Martha Stewart doily punch for the borders and added some cream pearls to this. And then attached some cream & brown ribbon to the side and added some pearls to this also. Lastly i added a biuld up flower in brown & white with a pearl in the centre. I am really pleased with it.

New Daisy & Dandelion cd rom

Just wanted to share this with you, I have bought the Daisy & Dandelion cd rom, and i made this card with it today, If you want quick cards and don't have much time it's great. I love the papers on the cd and it has every updated character, decoupage, sentiments, tags, borders and frames and it even has digi stamps which is good, I think in the long run you will save money with this because the packs in the shop are expensive if you buy them alot. It also has the christmas section on there too which is a bonus.

Forever Friends Sketch challenge ( I am Roses )

This is my entry for this weeks challenge. I have chosen a love theme. I have used red heart paper from my stash for the background, and then bigger hearts paper for the panels, then pyramaged my bears, added some gorgeous flowers and red hearts and the sentiment love with pearls and a ribbon attached.

Love Victoria Case

I found Victoria Case designs on someone else's blog and i think her images are fantastic, i have bought nearly all of them. I have done this card for my friends teenage daughter, she has a similar hair do and so i thought this was ideal. I have coloured her with pro markers and papermania water colour markers, added some glamour dust to the hem of her top and a gem to the bag, i have used a sakura glaze for her lipstick, and this works really well. I have mounted the image onto some lilac card and used lilac chalk around the edges. The backing paper is from my stash and i have had it for ages. I used a martha stewart doily punch at the bottom and added some pearls to this. a purple flower at the top left and then computer generated the sentiment and stuck a gorgeous padded heart on to this. That's it for today, i have enjoyed being in the house on my own for a change, but as usual there aren't enough hours in the day.....

Boutique card

I have made this for another friend Linda, it's for her sister who lives in Australia, she wanted a fashion card so i went for a boutique theme. The shop is a digital download from charmedcardsandcrafts.com from the set ' girls about town '. I have coloured the boutique with my pro markers, then printed again and decoupaged the red boutique sign and the panels at the bottom. i then cut out the window and put some acetate there for better effect. I die cutted some dresses from mulberry paper and coloured them with my promarkers and embellished them with red flowersoft and gems for the red dress, and purple pearls and rafia for the lilac dress and stuck these to some lilac card with silicone glue. I also added the sentiment .I then 3d'd the shop and attached it to the card. At the top i added the sentiment ' enjoy your day ' which is computer generated. and at the bottom matt and layered the sentiment and added some roses. I am quite pleased how it has turned out, i think she will be thrilled.

DIY CARD

I made this card for my friend Joan, it's for her son Neil. He has been living back home while doing up his house and is just about ready to move in, he doesn't have a settee yet so his mum keeps saying he will end up with just a chair, so i thought this was appropriate. The image is from craftsuprint.com and by an artist called gordon fraser. These are great if you need a quick card. I have decoupaged him up and matt and layered him to card. I computer generated the backing paper. and the sentiment then cut this out with a nellie snellen die. and hung 3 diy charms from it. Added some buttons with raffia. Finally added the other sentiments from my stash. She loved the card.

Pretty blooms ~ phindy's Place

I love this image so feminine, i have made this for my friend cos she is mad on gardening. I coloured her with copics and papermania watercolour markers, used a sakura pen for the flowers so they sparkle ans some stickles for the grass to sparkle. used up some of my ribbon which i bought 3 years ago, added some pearls and a glitter flower, computer generated the sentiments.

thanks

Another Mo Manning

Another mo manning image called 'Lacie with ice cream' , she is such fun and has a cheekiness about her. I have gone for a purple theme, coloured her dress with papermania water colour marker pens, i have used purple glaze sakura pen for her glasses, and a clear glaze for the lens, purple glaze pen for her flip flops this gives them a rubber feel. i have added glamour dust to some of her dress and the ice cream. Chalked around the image and added pearls for the buttons on her dress. The paper is again from a forever friends stash, the sentiment was a freebie, the buttons, gems and charm and ribbon are from my stash ( i am trying to use items i have had for ages). Pollycraft monday challenge 'Pinkalicious'

I am entering this card in Polly craft's monday challenge 'Pinkalicious'.
The image is from Mo Manning again ( i have spent a fortune this month at Mo's). She's called 'Baby Fairy Flora'. I have used some forever friends pink gingham backing paper and then used a forever friends Paper in a different pink and with the words 'Happy Birthday' on. I used chalk for the sky and the grass as it has a softer effect, i coloured her in with pro markers and used some glamour dust on her wings and the hem of her dress, I used a pink sakura glaze for the bobbles in her hair. sakura glitter pens for the flower she is holding and the bee's. I then added some pink star and heart buttons with raffia, attached some pink ribbon with 'Pretty as a princess' words, and the sentiments are computer generated, isn't she gorgeous.....

Mo Manning

This is a Mo Manning image called ' taking a break ' I love her images, i have chalked around the image in blue for the sky and green for the grass, i think it looks more natural than if you use pens. I coloured them in using papermania dual tip watercolour markers i find i can shade things better with these. I then used a clear sakura glaze to the dogs collar and the sole of the boys shoes and a black sakura glaze to the dogs nose to make it look wet. I used a white skaura souffle pen on the tennis ball and then before it dried i dabbed a green pro marker pen and the effect is great, it looks like the green fuzz you get on a tennis ball so i am pleased with that. I then mounted the image on to black card. The background paper is from a forever friends pack. I have added some black star button with raffia attached, and some black gems. The messages are computer generated and i cut these with a nellie snellen frame, enjoy.
