Men challenge

I am entering this card in challenge #20 cards for men ~ Autumn. This card is for my friend Simon and his idea of Autumn is all wrapped up and warm down the pub, so I have chosen to do this card as my theme. I have chosen an image from wild rose studio, coloured him with pro markers and chalked around the edge, then cut him out with a nellie snellen frame. I have used all my spare bits of leftovers on this card. I have used some brown card and then stacked with some happy birthday card adn finally some masculine words paper. I then attatched some ribbon and rough ribbon and mounted my image on top of these. I added a button and some twine. The bottom sentiment is from Pink Petticoat, and the top one is computer generated, I hope he likes, I think it turned out ok.

Martini Nikki

This is Martini Nikki from ladybug crafts ink. It's for my boss at work. I have omitted the dog when I stamped the image. I stamped her twice and 2d'd her then coloured her with pro markers. The DP I got free when i ordered something from ebay. To this I added some brown gross grain ribbon and added some pearls to this, I cut Nikki out with my nellie snellen frame and attached her to the top and then used a tlc sentiment, cut this out and placed it at the bottom. I then attached some cream and brown organza ribbon and added some pearls and attached a cream rose just under the bow. And 2 roses at the side of the sentiment. The top and bottom sentiments is computer generated.

Pink Petticoat ~ Anniversary

Don't ya just love Pink Petticoat, I do, this card is for my friend at work Colin, it's his 1st wedding anniversary and this is what i have done for him. I have used DP from Pink Petticoat before I put the DP on i attatched a big bow to the corner and then stuck it down and it has worked well. I then added a flower with pearl stamen to this. I have cut out a big circle with love heart paper and the another circle in hammered cream card, and then the love sentiment with a nellie snellen frame added some pearls and stuck all these together. I then cut some layering borders using my martha stewart doily punch and added these to the middle and bottom. I attatched the big sentiment in the middle and a sentiment strip also from pink petticoat across the bottom, and added more pearls, The other sentiment is computer generated.

golf crazy

I will be posting a lot of cards this week 1) because I have got 2 weeks off work annual leave and 2) I have had a lot of orders. This one is again for Bill, It's for his Grandson in law if there is such a thing lol, I have used an image from craftsuprint and 2d'd him up then mounted him onto some golf backing paper I have had for ages and not used, the middle sentiment ribbon is from Pink Petticoat, the bottom text is some I had left over from another card. The top sentiment is computer generated and the other one is from craftsuprint.

Bob the builder

This card is for my pal Bill, he's lovely and now he has got his family ordering cards and I am rushed off my feet, but that's ok. This one is for his great grandson who is 2. He loves Bob the builder so I thought I would do a card with him on. I have coloured him in with pro markers and glased his hat with a sakura pen, the sky with chalk and the ground i have done with prisma pencils and sansodor. I mounted him onto light blue card then navy. I have computer generated the bob sentiment and mounted him over this. The sentiments are computer generated and I have added some buttons to finish off.

Daisy & Dandelion

This card is for my friend Joan, it's for her Granddaughter Madelaine who is 10 next. She has a floppy earred rabbit called Roger and so she wanted this theme on her card. All be it a feminine Roger lol. I have used DP from daisy & dandelion, I have printed the rabbit from the cd rom and cut out with a nellie snellen frame and attached some hot pink gems. I have attached 2 lots of ribbon to the side and tied them into a bow. I have added a flower button and the charm 'wish', some of the sentiments are computer generated the rest are from my stash. Hope she likes.

Computer Whizz

This card is from my friend Linda for her Grandson, he is a computer whizz. I had trouble getting an image so I have had to go to craftsuprint they always have something suitable. I do like stamps and digi stamps but I just couldn't find one. I have 2d'd him and mounted onto some light blue card and then onto some navy card. The DP is from scrap booking mad, The sentiment ribbon is from Pink petticoat and the sentiments are computer generated. I have finished off with some buttons and raffia.

Retirement

This had to be a quick card as my friend Sara wanted it quickly, so I used my Forever Friends cd rom, I added some sentiments to each picture and then printed them out onto some linen card, then mounted them onto some pearlised purple card. The lilac spot DP is from the cd rom aswell. I have added a lilac organza ribbon and bow to the left. The sentiment ribbon is from pink petticoat and the other sentiments are computer generated.

Football Mad

This card is again for Pam, it's for her partner Brian. If you come from Sheffield you either support Sheffield Wednesday or Sheffield United and this is a Sheffield wednesday card which I might add I have had to hide from my husband as he is a Blade ( Sheffield United ). I have stamped a football player from a stamp set by craft uk, coloured him with promarkers and glazed his shirt and socks to make them stand out a bit more. The grass i have coloured with my prisma pencils and sansodor, I have used blue chalk for the sky. I then mounted the image onto navy card and added the sentiment ' the beautiful game'. The backing paper I created on the toolbox cd rom you can write anything you want and it converts it onto backing paper for you, very good for personalised cards and I have put the words ' Sheffield Wednesday ' on mine. The 60th sentiment is from sue gaylor, and the sentiment ribbons are computer generated. I have finished off with a blue button and added a love charm with raffia.

Classic Car

I have been asked for quite a few 60th birthday cards lately. This one is for my friend Pam it's for her brother Eddie. I have used a decoupage set which I bought from create and craft ages ago. I have 2d'd the car and stuck to some silver matt card and then onto some black card, I have used a sentiment ribbon from pink petticoat and stuck this across the bottom, I have used the backing paper from the set as I didn't want to waste it. I have mounted the car on to the backing paper. The top sentiment is computer generated and the other 2 are from TLC creations. I have finished off with 2 black buttons.

Forever friends

I have been dying to use this image, it's from the forever friends cd rom I bought, i have printed the image out twice and then 2d'd the shirts, then glazed the number one's with a sakura pen. The DP is from this cd as well, I have used the embossing folder swiss dots and the mounted everything together, the top sentiment is computer generated, the bottom one is a freebie digi set and I can't remember where from. It's a quikie today as I have to get to work in a bit.

Bath time

This is a card for Joan again she is 60 on halloween and everyone at work is asking me to do her a card for them and this is another one. I have used a phindy's place image coloured her with pro markers and added some glamour dust to the bubbles, i have mounted this onto cream card stock and added some lovely beads to some rafia. The DP is from my local craft shop and the sentiment is from a set i bought from TLC creations, I have added some lovely roses to this and some pearls at the bottom.

Penny black saturday challenge

I am entering this into the Penny Black saturday challenge. Men. I do find it difficult when I have to do a man's card, I think it's because I can't add any glitter or fancy embellishments lol. So I thought a christmas card would be good as I can get away with a bit of glitter. The DP is from Pink Petticoat, the stitch ribbon is from Hobbycraft, the sentiment from my stash. I have coloured the image with pro markers and aqua promarkers and chalked around the edge, I have glazed their wellies with sakura green. added some glamour dust and added 2 clear crystals. A bit plain for me but very manly.

18th card

This is also a request for my friend Joan for her Granddaughter Leonie's 18th birthday. She is always very specific in what she wants on her cards and it is always a challenge for me. Apparently when Leonie was about 15 she used to tell her Gran that she was at the library all the time when she wasn't so she wanted me to incorporate that in the theme. So I have chosen an image called soda pop from sassy studio designs, I have coloured her with pro markers and glazed her lips, the bottle of pop with sakura, and used some crystals for the buttons on her dungarees. I have used a sign post stamp I can't remember where I got that, coloured it with pro markers and used prisma pencils and sansador for the grass beneath, and chalk for the sky. The DP is from Nitwits. I have tied some pink raffia to the left and attached some pearls to this and a lovely floral button. I have added a pink flower button and charm to the bottom right. The sentiments are computer generated. Hope she likes.

Bugaboo ~ Halloween

This card is from me to my friend Joan. Her birthday is on Halloween and she is 60 bless her, so I thought I would do her a fun card. The image is JJ from bugaboo and I think she's brill. I have coloured her with pro markers and sakura stardust pens and chalked around the edge, 3d'd the hat and her boots and broom. The DP is fab and from Pink Petticoat, I have added some black organza ribbon and a pumpkin charm. The sentiment at the top left and bottom are computer generated and the others are from an embossing folder. I think she will be chuffed with this.

Kanban vespa

These are some Kanban stamps I bought from Ebay cos they were a bargain price and I have used them loads for mens cards. This is a request from my friend Joan, her Daughter-in-law is Vespa mad and I immediately thought of this scooter. I have stamped on to white card and then 2d'd the image, and then stamped on to some union jack DP and paper pieced this onto the scooter, I have coloured the rest with promarkers and sakura stardust pens. I then cut out with a nellie snellen frame and inked around the edge with a wheat chalk ink.The Dp is from my stash, The sentiments are computer generated and the flowers are from petaloo. I also used a 60's girl digi stamp bought from craftsuprint, I coloured her with prisma pencils and sansador and sakura glazed her boots, and added some glamour dust to her top. I think it turned out ok.

Ahhh ain't she just so sweet. I just had to have her as soon as I laid eyes on her. I have used 2 DP's the spot is from forever friends, the other one is from my local craft shop, to cover the join I have used a sentiment strip bought from Pink Petticoat, I then added a Pink ribbon just underneath the sentiment strip and added some pink pearls to it. The image is colored with promarkers and koh-i-noor pencils and sansador, to this I have added some pearls and some gorgeous flowers bought from Dinkybutnice on ebay, the branches I cut with my Martha Stewart punch. The big sentiment is from TLC creations, I am loving this shop at the moment. At the bottom I have added a lovely spot heart bought from paper chase.

Quickie Wedding Card

This was a quickie, my daughter is going to her friends wedding tomorrow, talk about the last minute eh! I have used some DP from printable heaven, cut some white card out with a nellie snellen frame then embossed it with a flourish pattern in the big shot, I then cut some silver card again with a nellie snellen frame and stuck this to the white cut out, I then added some pearls and mounted this onto some pearlised purple card. The wedding couple are from Jolly nation and are already die cut so I 2d'd them, I prefer 2d to 3d, I have added some glamour dust to her tiara and bottom of the dress and some gorgeous roses from wild orchid crafts. The sentiment ribbon is from a set I bought recently from Pink Petticoat, I finished with some purple organza ribbon and the other sentiments are computer generated. Phew!

Pink Carnations

This is a card i made for my friend Linda, it's for her step daughter. She always wants flowers of some kind and i have to admit I do struggle with them. Again it has took me ages to come up with this and I know it looks simple. The DP is from Scrapbooking mad, I have embossed some white card with a flourish embossing folder, then cut some cream card with a nellie snellen die frame. I have bunched the carnations up and added some pearls to the stems, and then added a pink organza bow, and some tiny pink pearls around the frame. To the left I have added some pink organza ribbon and attached some pink crystals, the best wishes sentiment is from my stash and the rest are computer generated and i have added a heart charm to the bottom sentiment. Hope she likes.....

Pure Innocence Flurry of Love

I Love this Pure Innocence digi, I thimk it's called Flurry of love. I have coloured the image with pro markers and sakura souffle pens and added some glamour dust as usual lol. I then framed her with a cream die cut frame I bought from Ebay, and added some purple crystals to the corners and the word flurries from a cuttlebug embossing folder, all I have done is instead of using the whole sheet i have cut out the winter words they are fab additions to Christmas cards. The top right snowflake is from my stash and I added a purple crystal. The DP is from Pink Petticoats and Scrap booking mad, before I layered the paper I used my Martha Stewart doily punch to give it an interesting join. I have then added some purple organza ribbon to the left and tied in a bow at the top and added a purple jingle bell, and the word 'snow' attached to the ribbon. The ticket i got from a digi set, and the bottom sentiment is from Pink petticoat.
