I am entering this into the Penny Black saturday challenge. Men. I do find it difficult when I have to do a man's card, I think it's because I can't add any glitter or fancy embellishments lol. So I thought a christmas card would be good as I can get away with a bit of glitter. The DP is from Pink Petticoat, the stitch ribbon is from Hobbycraft, the sentiment from my stash. I have coloured the image with pro markers and aqua promarkers and chalked around the edge, I have glazed their wellies with sakura green. added some glamour dust and added 2 clear crystals. A bit plain for me but very manly.

ReplyDeleteMen are hard to create for aren't they? My husband has learned it's not good for his health to roll his eyes at me when I show him another card! This is lovely, I've opted for a Christmas one too and will post it on Monday.

Oh dear Gaynor .. .. I have just noticed your Christmas countdown and the days have reduced to just two digit numbers now .. .. only 98 now!!! Eeekkk.
ReplyDeleteLoving your card - beautifully coloured image and the little holly leaves across the bottom are super cute.
Thanks for the inspiration.

What a beautiful card and I love how you wrapped the ribbon in the corners. Great idea :)
