Meerkats

Well it's absolutely glorious today in Sheffield, I was up at the crack of dawn to walk the dogs as Alfie struggles in the heat. I have done most of my washing so pleased and guilt free about crafting.

I have said this before about getting some strange requests for cards, This is a request from Ingrid for her mum and she absolutely loves Meerkats, well I was a bit worried because you don't get many of these in the crafting world, so I googled it and up popped this digi by Terri Sherman from card making downloads.

I have tried to make it as feminine as possible. I coloured the image with prisma pencils blended with sansodor and tim holtz ink for the sky, hand stitched around the image, The DP is from Papermania, I added a doily, scallop border and some lace, a crochet flower made by me, a cherry blossom flower and a butterfly, I meant to put some pearls on this but forgot. The sentiments are (top) little claires and the bottom one is computer generated by me.
