GDT card for Natalie & Amy

A month or so ago I applied to be on Natalie & Amy's DT

I didn't make it but they asked me to GDT for September's challenge which I was chuffed about

so here is my creation, the theme is Blinging Birthdays

so as much bling as possible please.

Most of the items on my card are from Natalie & Amy's shop

I have used a stamp from the nellie snellen range called Sweet Elin frog on flower available here, the butterfly is from a studio g stamp set called spring is in the air, I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir pens and prisma pencils for the grass and some tim holtz ink for the sky. I then die cut using my x-cut oval and scallop oval dies, hand stitched around the edge and added some pearls. The DP's are from First edition called Summer breeze, I have added a MS doily heart border, some glitter ribbon, the doily, gems and flower are from my stash, the sentiments are from Pink Petticoat (top) and Stamping bella (bottom).

Jellypark stamp spotlight design team card

It's Stamp spotlight at Jellypark

I chose this one as it is one of my favourites

it is called couple kissing under the mistletoe

For a change I have coloured using prisma pencils blended with sansodor apart from the face which I used promarkers, I need more practice on the face lol. I matted to some red CS, the DP is from LOTV, the border is a cheery lynn die and the swirls are cut from a Marianne die, I added some red satin ribbon and added a charm, I finished off with a button and twine, some pearls, poinsettia's and the sentiments.

The border punchis a MS punch and I saved the stars and added them to the corners

what a day

Well what a rubbish 2 days I have had, the weather has been awful, we have been having constant powercuts since 7pm last night, it has finally come back on and looks like it's been fixed. If I haven't commented on your work I appologise but it's outta my hands lol.

This card I did a while back and forgot about it. I got a reminder today as I saw a message on Ladybugcraftsink's Facebook page that Nikki is going digital, This is such good news for me, I love the Nikki stamps but they are quite small and I do most of my cards in 8 x 8 so I can't wait to get my mitts on them lol

This is a quickie as I'm wondering if the power will go again x

Bella with presents

It's absolutely pouring it down in Sheffield today and very windy, just awful weather.

This card was a request from Becky a friend at work

I used Bella with presents from WRS, I have coloured in with Promarkers, added some GD and hand stitched around the edge and matted to some cream CS embossed with a cuttlebug spot folder, The DP is from Dovecraft and nana's nursery, the heart doily I got from Hobbycraft, the scallop border is a MS punch and I added some lace to this then the gorgeous flower.The number one is a die-namics die, I matted this to a nellie die and added the elephant charm, the letter tiles are from my stash and the sentiment on the image is WRS, I finished off with some pearls.

Renewal of wedding vows

This is a request from a friend at work, she wanted a renewal of wedding vows card

I have used a stamp from Penny Johnson I think, easy to colour, matted to some grey CS and hand stitched around the edge, I used a crafts too embossing folder on the white CS and matted this to the same grey CS, the DP is from Papermania, The heart die top right is a cheery lynn and I saved some of the left over hearts to add around the image and the vertical heart die is memory box and I added pearls to this, the photo corners I got from a friend and the floral birds and heart are from Hobbycraft. The sentiments are computer generated.

We have a brand new challenge for you at Jellypark

the theme is Thank you 

For my card I had to use this gorgeous image called Girl with balloon and present.

She is coloured in with promarkers and embellished with GD, the DP is from my stash, I used a cuttlebug spots embossing folder on the pink CS. I have added a co-ordinating brad and some spare ribbon and a button , the sentiments are from cuddly buddly (left) and pink petticoat (right), finished off with some pearls and a flower.

New Baby

This is a card I was asked to make for friends at work who have just had a baby girl Florence

I have used a magnolia stamp called Sleeping baby tilda, she is coloured in with Promarkers and embellished with GD, I used my cheery lynn Swedish spring oval frame and mounted tilda to this to give a 3d effect. The DP's are from LOTV, forever friends and Nana's nursery, the gorgeous border is also a cheery lynn die,  added some ribbon on top, the top left and bottom sentiments are from Pink Petticoat and the main top one is computer generated, I finished off with flowers from wild orchid crafts, feathers, flowers, buttons, charms and pearls.

I have made a wedding card for a friend at work, the image is LOTV, I have framed it with the dainty doily die from Cheery lynn, the DP is also LOTV, I added a border using my doily MS punch, added 2 lots of lace, the heart die is also from cheery lynn, I added a pearl heart on top, I finished off with some gorgeous blue flowers covered in stickles, some more pearls and the sentiments.

This is my take on the sketch

I have used a stamp from stamping bella's uptown girls called Ava loves to celebrate

She is coloured with promarkers and I added some white sakura glaze pen to the dress and present for the spots and added some GD.

The DP is from LOTV and it is divine, the border is a cheery lynn die as is the pink doily and the butterfly ( I blame Tamara for my addiction to these dies lol), I added lace and ribbon, some gorgeous blue flowers covered in stickles, I finished off with some pearls and the sentiment, and yes that space on the bottom left is driving me mad, I hate leaving spaces!!

Mice are Nice

This card is a request from a colleague at work

I have used LOTV die cuts, handy for a quick card and good value.

The DP's are from Papermania and my stash, I have used a marianne die for the fancy matting, the border is a cheery lynn die, the leaf die is from memory box, I added some pink ribbon tied in a bow and some pink and wooden flowers from my stash. Finished off with pearls and the sentiments are computer generated.

For my card I have used an image called Blowing bubbles available to buy here at Digi Doodles shop.

I have coloured in with promarkers and prisma pencils and added some glossy accents to the bubbles, matted to some lilac dot cs and hand stiched the top and bottom, then I added the pearls. The otherspot papers are from Dovecraft and forever friends, I added a scallop border at the bottom, some lilac spot ribbon tied in a bow and finished off with the sentiments from LOTV, some more pearls and a flower

I have decided to make a Baby card with this gorgeous image from the sketching stamper, I have coloured in with promarkers and added some fun flock to the blanket, added the LOTV stamp in the corner and added a button in the centre, I then matted to some pink CS and hand stitched around the edge and then added the pearls, the DP's are from my stash and the dots is from cart-us, the word stamp is from Ebay, I added a doily, some more buttons and the other sentiments are from Pink petticoat, I added the borders using cheery lynn border die, I am in love with these dies.I finished off with some crochet flowers, a teddy charm and some more pearls.

Happy Birthday

This is a request from Joan a friend at work

I decided to use some free stamps I got in a mag, I embossed the paper first and then stamped her in the middle, I have coloured with promarkers and added some GD and gems, matted to some pink then blue CS and added the white photo corner, the gorgeous DP is from LOTV ( I am loving these pads), I have added a border using my MS punch, added some lace and ribbon and finished off with the felt die cut flowers, cheery lynn swirl and some pearls.

My card was made for a friend at work, her daughter loves cupcakes and owls, so I decided to ink up this LOTV stamp, I coloured with promarkers and embelished with GD and sakura glaze pen, then die cut with a spellbinders die, embossed some blue CS with a crafts too heart folder, the DP is from LOTV/Nitwits, I added a lace border using a cheery lynn die, added some lace on top and then the blue ribbon tied in a bow. The doily is from MMCS as is the die I used to cut the 12, I finished off with gems, pearls and crochet flowers oh and the owl charm

Design Team card - Anything goes - Early Christmas

We have a new challenge for you at Anything Goes

the theme is Early Christmas

so a great way to get started on your crimbo cards.

I have decided to use a stamp I bought recently from Magnolia called Edwin on Christmas eve, he is coloured in with promarkers and sakura glaze pen, I added some twinklets and silver flowersoft and some fun flock, he is cut out with spellbinders die and matted to some red mirror card. The DP is from Dovecraft, I added a Kraft star border using my MS punch, the wooden shapes are from the craft den and I added card candi to the centres, the snowflake is from my stash, the words are from a papermania pad called mistletoe kisses and the circle sentiment is from LOTV.

My image is from Digi doodle shop called Cone flowers and vase which you can buy here for just $1.00.

I have coloured in with promarkers, my bit of sparkle is in the centre's of the flowers. I have used a flower embossing folder and matted this to some pink CS, the DP is from Papermania, I added some white ribbon and tied in a bow, a photo corner using my MFT die, the flower is from my stash, I finished off with some pearls and the computer generated sentiments.

Design team card Ladybug Crafts Anything Goes

Eeeeeeeee I am so excited

It's the very first challenge at Ladybug crafts

The theme is Anything goes a nice easy one to start with

This will be a monthly challenge, so plenty of time to play along and you can enter 3 times too!!

The prize for the first challenge is a £15.00 voucher to spend on anything from the Ladybug Crafts website 

Sam gave us some fab images from Unity to play with and some gorgeous blue flowers, I decided to use this image called Happiness is. She is coloured in with Spectrum Noir pens and a little prisma pencil for blending and the grass, tim holtz ink for the sky, I added some twine for the rope on the swing, the papers are from a freebie in a magazine. I matted the image to some cream CS, then die cut the fence using my Magnolia die and the flowers using my memory box die, the flowers are also coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and some gems added to the centre's of some flowers. The top two sentiments come with the stamp set and the bottom one is computer generated, I finished off with some pearls and that gorgeous blue flower covered in stickles.
