Pure Innocence cupcake ~ Quirky crafts challenge

This is a card made for a friend, it features a Pure innocence stamp ~ girl with cupcake ( you can find them at www.heather-ellis.co.uk) they are really good value so check them out. I have layered happy birthday word card and purple flowered card for contrast, then white hammered card, attached some purple organza ribbon and bow and added some purple gems, coloured the image with promarkers and added grape stickles to the hem of her dress and sleeve, added strawberry stickles to the chips on the cupcake, very effective. Attatched a purple glitter flower and pearl to the top right, and computer generated the sentiments. Fab.

Forever friends stitching challenge

I Love forever friends bears and this is what i have created for the challenge this week. It's a stitching challenge. I used some lovely forever friends backing paper with browns and pink flowers on and attached this to the card, i then attached a paper from a forever friends pad this already had the bear on there.To that i used some white stitch rub ons to go across the top and down the right side. i have added the words Pamper yourself in purple, added some pink gems to the centre of the flowers and added a bit of glitter to the centre of the flowers on the left. Iadded some pink organza ribbon and a bow and added some more pink gems to that. And lastly i computer generated the message at the bottom ' Enjoy your day ' cut it out with a nellie snellen tag and attached it to some pink card with ribbon. Gorgeous.

Phindys place image Love Cycle

I am addicted to Phindy's place at the moment, and i have made this card for my friends little daughter who is mad about her bike. I have used some lovely pink backing paper from a flower fairies cd rom i have got, i have used a phindy's place image called 'Love Cycle', coloured her with promarkers, i have used a pink sakura glaze pen for the bike mud guards, a clear star sakura pen for the bike spokes and chain, and a pink glitter copic atyou spica pen for the metal of the bike, some pink gems for the bolts holding the wheels on, i added some pink organza ribbon to the side with a bow and attached some pink gems, i chalked around the edges in blue for the sky and green and brown for the path and grass just to give it some 3d dimension,i added some glamour dust to the balloon, the flowers on her top and the bows in her hair, and finally the message ' Have fun in the sun'. Such a lovely image.

Black Calla Lillies

A friend of mine asked me to do a wedding card with a black & white theme using black calla lillies, and this freaked me out a bit because i couldn't find any anywhere to buy. So i bought some white ones and coloured them black and i am pleased with the result.First i used a free digi stamp backing paper for the background (from Doodle beans digital stamps ), then i used some black card and using a doily martha stewart punch i did the fancy edge, hammered white card on top of this, i added some black organza ribbon attached some white pearls and a charm 'love' to that. I then used my nellie snellen frame to cut a fancy oval from the swirl paper again, i made a pearl stem to go in the middle of the black lillies, the sentiments are computer generated and cut with nellie snellen frames, i then added a black love heart to the bottom message, i am very pleased and i think my friend will be too. Friends Birthday

This card is for my friends birthday, she likes to relax and she loves her chocolate so i thought this would be ideal for her. The stamp is from Ladybugcraftsink ' Slobbing Nikki'. I have stamped her on to white card then cut her out, coloured her with my promarkers, added glamour dust to the towel on her head and the cushions, i have used flower soft polar white to fluff her slippers. For the backing paper i used 'Mmmm chocolate i love chocolate' which i got from printable heaven. i used my bigshot to emboss happy birthday on to cream card, and to cut out the letters Mmm, put cream and brown ribbon to the side and added a S charm as her name is Shabnam. i computerised the sentiments and added a brown button and some lovely beads at the bottom. Hope she likes it.

Expecting

My friend is pregnant so i thought this image would be great. I bought it from mo manning at digitalpenciltoo.com it's called mother to be 1. i have used backing paper from pink petticoat, purple card to mount the image onto, chalked around the image in blue, coloured her in with pro markers and sakura pens, added some glamour dust to the hemline and neckline on her top. Used some raffia and added some beads and silver butterfly spacers, added a congratulations sentiment from my stash and then computerised ' you're expecting' from the computer, lastly i added some purple ribbon and attached some lilac pearls. Lovely.

First Card Post

Hi this is my first blog so i am new to this, ( any tips would be grateful) lol. i started because i wanted people to see my creations. My first card is made using Ladybugcraftsink Bathtub Nikki. I have stamped her onto plain white card, coloured her using my promarkers, and sakura pens. I have used glamour dust on some of the bubbles. Framed her using a love heart frame from the sissix collection, used some blue floral paper from the forever friends collection, put a blue organza ribbon at the top and attached pearls to it, a lovely flower with a big blue pearl in the centre, and computer generated my messages.
