Black Calla Lillies

A friend of mine asked me to do a wedding card with a black & white theme using black calla lillies, and this freaked me out a bit because i couldn't find any anywhere to buy. So i bought some white ones and coloured them black and i am pleased with the result.First i used a free digi stamp backing paper for the background (from Doodle beans digital stamps ), then i used some black card and using a doily martha stewart punch i did the fancy edge, hammered white card on top of this, i added some black organza ribbon attached some white pearls and a charm 'love' to that. I then used my nellie snellen frame to cut a fancy oval from the swirl paper again, i made a pearl stem to go in the middle of the black lillies, the sentiments are computer generated and cut with nellie snellen frames, i then added a black love heart to the bottom message, i am very pleased and i think my friend will be too.
