Ordination

I tried to post this card yesterday but blogger was playing up yet again, so frustrating.

This is an Ordination card and when Maggie a colleague at work asked me to make it I freaked out because I am not religious and I had never seen an Ordination card before, so I find myself out of my comfort zone again lol.

I have used a digi from Mcmahon five designs, it's called easter cross but I thought it would be appropriate for this card. I have coloured in with promarkers then glazed the leaves and used a copicatyou clear glitter pen to add some subtle sparkle to the flowers and this looks good but you cannot see it in the photo's, then cut out using a nellie die. The DP is from my local craft shop, I have added a double border with my MS doily flower punch then added some lace to this and some punched out flowers with pearls in the middle. I then used my script embossing folder on some cream CS and added the image to this with foam pads and some ribbon left over from the one I have attached. The sentiments are computer generated and I finished off with some card candi, photo corners and pearls. I hope she likes it.
