Christening Card and some news

This is a card I made for a friend, his Great-Grandson is one years old and he's getting christened in a few weeks. As soon as he asked me to make this card I knew which image I was going to use. This little cutie is called Baby in suit by Mo Manning, I have coloured with promarkers and die cut with spellbinders, the DP is   

from my stash, I added a star border using my MS punch and the larger stars are cut using a die-namics die, the pearl stars are from Ebay, the doily is from my stash and the sentiments are computer generated.

My news is I have been picked to be part of the Just Inklined Design team, I am so thrilled as I am a big fan of their fab Digi's and cannot wait to get started. Look out for my first card on the 13th of October.

Christening card

This is a request from one of my friends

The image is from LOTV called Baby Christening.

I have coloured in with Promarkers, matted to some blue gingham CS and hand stitched around the edge, The DP's are from Sue Gaylor and forever friends, I added a star border with my MS punch added some white ribbon tied in a bow and then the button, charm and twine.

The sentiments are from Pink petticoat and cats life press, I finished off with varoius pearls bought from Ebay, oh and the heart doily was from Hobbycraft.

Double Christening

This card is a request from a colleague at work, she wanted a card for a double Christening, so again I am tested lol. I have sat for a day wondering what I could do. In the end I have gone for Penny Black stamps and decided to do half blue and half pink. I stamped the bears and then stamped the children's names in the box's then coloured them in using watercolour markers and matted to some pink and blue gingham CS, the gingham DP is from my stash, I have added a large white ribbon down the centre and tied in a bow to cover the seam, the buttons are from basic grey, I have added twine and a charm to the larger button. I then added a cross to the white bow with some twine. The sentiment is computer generated and I finished off with some pearls. I am quite pleased how it turned out and I hope Patricia likes it...
