Babies 1st Birthday

This is a sweet little babe from a designer called Lori Boyd and shes called sugar sticks baby megan, you can buy her here. I have coloured her with promarkers which I really like to use and embelished with glamour dust, then cut out with my new nellie snellen doily circle die. The DP is from forever friends which I attached to the card and then used a hobbycraft heart corners punch and a hobby craft border punch at the bottom of the card. I then used a martha stewart doily punch on the button DP which is forever friends again. The spot organza ribbon and the heart pin are from the ribbon girl and the flowers are from dinkybutnice on ebay. The circle sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs, to finish off I added 2 small heart buttons.

Bargain Stamps

I went to my local Hobbycraft yesterday just to browse, I didn't go for anything specific. But I saw a box of stamps reduced to 99p so I just had to take a look. And this is what I got, I am quite chuffed as I don't usually get any bargains.

Scooter card

This was a quick card I made for my Hubby's pal Geoff. They are all into Northern Soul and Skah music and they love the scooters, so this is the theme to this card. I have used a Kanban stamp. I have coloured with Promarkers and paper pieced the union jack. I then cut out with a spellbinders die and mounted on to red card. The DP I have had for ages and I don't remember where I got it from. I have added a mod sentiment from a clipart site, The 50th birthday circle sentiment is from TLC creations and the top right sentiment is computer generated. I think he'll love it.

Bugaboo stella Birthday Card

This card is for my friend Linda, it's her Birthday on the 10th of feb, I think she has a sense of humour. I have used Stella from bugaboo and coloured with pro markers and sakura glaze and glitter pens. I then mounted on to navy card. The DP is from papermania, I have attached a cream ribbon and bow. The sentiment comes with the image and the circle sentiment is computer generated by me, hope she likes.

JLS Birthday card

This is a request from my friend michelle, Her niece loves JLS and I kind of panic when something like this gets requested. I have used an image from a magazine and mounted it on to black card. I have added a silver organza ribbon, I have used a marianne flower die for the flower and added a glitter brad to the centre. The top sentiment strip is computer generated by me the bottom one is from pink petticoat.

Victoria case 'Look at me'

I just love Victoria Case stamps, she is one of my favourites and I have been buying a bundle of her stamps every payday because I want them all!!!

This one was a freebie from Victoria called ' Look at me', she is very generous with her freebies. The card is for a friend of mine, her niece is 16 soon and wanted a girly card, I thought of this image straight away as it's good for teenagers. I have coloured her with Promarkers and sakura glitter pens, mounted her onto pink then cream card and punched a border with my MS doily punch, and added some white ribbon, pink bakers twine and some hot pink pearls. The DP is from Nitwits. I have die cut some heart DP also from nitwits with a marianne doily die, then added the Birthday circle stamp which is from cats life press.. The flowers are from dinkybutnice on ebay, very reasonable prices and good quality, I have added some clear stickles to these and added some branches cut again with a MS punch, to finish I have added seam binding and fancy pins from the ribbon girl.

Football Decoupage

This card is for Linda also. I have decided to use up some of my decoupage, I don't use it any more, it's what I first started crafting with before I got into Blogland and all the inspirational lovely creations using stamps and then I was hooked. So I have a box of decoupage from years ago. Anyway sorry for babbling on. I have used the BP that came in the pack, cut some card stock to mount the decoupage onto. Stamped the football sentiment to the left. I added the decoupage which I 2d'd, I don't like 3D. The sentiment strip is from Pink Petticoat, and the other two sentiments are computer generated.

Vintage Lady

This card is again for my friend Linda, her mum is 90 soon and she wanted a card themed around playing cards, this was a tester because I didn't want to go too masculine with it. I have used a vintage lady and coloured her with promarkers and sakura glitter pens, then mounted on to black card and then red card. The DP is from Papermania. I have used my new marianne doily circle die ( loving this), printed some playing cards from a free clipart site and put these on the right, I have recycled some red velvet ribbon from a Christmas card, and finally added a flower and added a vintage button to the centre, I am quite pleased how it turned out as I always worry. I have just to add the sentiment and voila.

Referee

This card is for my friend Linda, her son-in-law is a referee and she wanted that as the theme for her card. I had some trouble finding a ref image, I got this one from cuddly buddly and only 99p, very good value for money. I have coloured his kit with papermania water coloured markers for a less harsh look, the rest with promarkers and the grass with prisma's and baby oil, then I chalked around him blue for the sky, and i paper pieced the red card as it has a sentiment in there that I didn't want to use. The DP is from forever friends, I mounted the image on to black card. I have used some stamps around the edge from my flippin men football stamp set, added a football which is also a stamp, and finished off with a black button and twine. The top sentiment is computer generated by me.

Football Card

This card is very popular with my customers. It is a Football card, the image is from cards I bought at the football club and the badge is from wrapping paper which I have mounted onto card for extra support. The BP I made myself using the toolbox cd rom. The anthem I did myself in word, I have stamped the sentiments on the red paper with a stamp I got from a flippin men set. The bottom sentiment strip is from pink petticoat and the top one is computer generated by me.

Gaming

This is a card for my stash. I have used an image from mo manning called 'game on'. I have coloured him with promarkers and sakura glitter penss, cut out with a nellie snellen frame and then mounted onto brown card which is cut from a scallop spellbinders die. The DP is from Papermania. I have added some raffia and added a sentiment from TLC creations, the circle sentiment is from cuddly buddly and I finished off with a button.

Mister old fart to you!

This card is for my dad, I hope he has a sense of humour!!, I know he has lol. I decided on using a Bugaboo image called 'that's mister old fart to you!' I have coloured him with pro markers, cut him out with a spellbinders label and inked around the edge in wheat chalk ink. The sentiment comes with him so very good value!!. The DP is from papermania, I have embossed some brown card with a cuttlebug spot folder and added some eyelets and hemp to this, then attached it to the card. I then attached the image. The top sentiment is computer generated, The ' Happy Birthday ' sentiment was a freebie, The 'old guys rule' sentiment is from TLC creations. Hope he likes.

Love is in the Air

This is an anniversary card for my stash. I have used a Penny Johnson stamp called 'cuddles'. I have coloured with faber castell polychromos pencils and baby oil, then cut out with a spellbinder die scallop squares, and again using a larger scallop square I cut some red mirror card and mounted the image to this. I then embossed some white card with my new hearts embossing folder. The DP is from forever friends and this is mounted on to red mirror card. I have added some red raffia I got in the sale. Yhe top circle sentiment is from cuddly buddly, the circle sentiment in the heart is from a small studio g stamp set, the 'cherish' heart sentiment is from TLC creations, and the 'happy anniversary' sentiment is from pink petticoat. To finish I have added some red love heart pearls around the edges. One of my New Years resolutions is to use up my old stash, you know how it is when something new comes out you want it and can't wait to use it, and the old stuff just gets put in a pile in your craft room lol.

Baby Benson Bugaboo

This is Baby Benson from Bugaboo and you get the sentiment included, I just love this little guy. I have coloured him with faber castell pencils and baby oil, I have mounted onto blue and then cream card. The DP is from papermania which is mounted onto blue mirror card, The spot organza ribbon is from ribbon girl, The circle sentiment is from cuddly buddly. I have added 3 buttons and a love charm and a silver plated chain to the sentiment and a safety pin charm and to finish some pale blue little hearts.

Busy Lizzie

This card is for my friend Kay, it's her birthday on the 23rd of January. She is a busy mom to 4 kiddies and 2 dogs and rarely gets time to herself and when I saw this image from Phindy's place It was ideal. The DP is from Papermania, I have added some white ribbon and tied in a bow, I coloured the image with a mixture of promarkers and papermania water colours, sakura glaze and glitter pens, then i hand sewn to some pink card stock. The Die cut corners are a marianne die and i have added some glamour dust to them . The circle sentiment is a stamp from Elzybells and the sottom sentiment is computer generated by me.

Cappuchino girl

This card is an order from my friend Bill, it's for his good friend Mavis. I asked him what theme he wanted and he said they go to a local cafe a lot and have stew and he wanted that putting on the card somewhere. So I thought I would go with a wild rose studio image called Cappuchino girl ( I think), and put a speech bubble there, I printed the speech bubble first on the computer then stamped the image to get it in the right place. She is coloured with promarkers and sakura glaze pens, I have added some glamour dust to her dress, and I have just realised I forgot to put a gem in the centre of the flower in her hair lol. The DP is from a papermania pad I got in the sale for £1.99. I have added a white glitter flower with a blue rose in the centre, some blue pearls to the edges and a grossgrain ribbon and bow. I would just like to thank Bev Rochester's tutorial on tying bows, mine were rubbish and now I am so chuffed with the ones I do, you can find the tutorial on her blog http://bevscrafts.blogspot.com she has some amazing tips to share and I for one am very grateful as I am still learning.

BUGABOO BOY & HIS DOG

I just love bugaboo images so quick to colour. He is coloured with promarkers and glazed with a black sakura on the wheels and the cutie dogs nose. The DP is from my stash, I have layered with some black card and cut the image and the brown card with a spellbinders scallop square die, I added some twine and a large button with a bone for his dog. The sentiment is recycled from another card.

Baby Benson

I think I am on a baby card splurge at the moment. There are a few ladies at work who are pregnant so they will come in handy when the time comes. The cutie is called Benson and he comes with the sentiment, he's from Bugaboo. I coloured him with promarkers then cut him out and mounted him onto cream linen card. I have kept this card quite simple. The sentiment strip is from pink petticoat, The pitter patter is a stamp I got from Elzybells before she closed down, the circle sentiment is from pink gem designs and i have glazed the hearts in blue. I added a blue stitch ribbon and bow, and some buttons and feet charm.

What do you think of this digital stamp I created for the back of my cards. I thought the custom made ones were too expensive, so I have had a play around on my computer and come up with this, it looks very professional and was really easy to do as well.

Sweet Baby Girl

I love making baby cards, they are my favourite after Christmas cards. This is one of the new baby digis over at mo's, she has 3 different girls and 3 different boys. This one is straight haired baby girl. I have coloured her with a mixture of promarkers and faber castell polychromos and baby oil, embellished with a little glamour dust, and a clear sakura glitter pen for her bracelet. I have mounted onto cream linen card. The DP is from forever friends and this I mounted onto pjnk card stock. I have added a pink organza ribbon and bow to the left, and some papermania ribbon across the button DP. The sentiments and sentiment strip are all from pink petticoat. Finished off with a glitter flower and a pink & white button with a love charm in the centre and 2 hot pink crystals.

Tee-rific Birthday

I love this image and enjoyed colouring it. It's a digi from Di's digi doodles. I have coloured in with faber castell polychromos and baby oil, chalked in the sky and some of the grass, sakura glazed the ladybug spots and the golf buggy wheels, the bears nose and the wood bit of the golf club. Then used a clear sakura glitter pen for the metal on the golf stick. The DP is from my stash, I mounted this onto glossy black card, the sentiment strip is from Pink Petticoat. I used a spellbinder nestabilities scallop square die for the image. The sentiment is computer generated by me, and finished off with a black glossy button and some raffia.
