Golden Anniversary card

This is a card I made for a friend of mine for her sisters wedding anniversary

she provided the photo's 

the papers are from first edition

ribbon and pearls from stash

I made the box myself, first time and it's not bad, I'm sure I will get better with practice

She wanted this photo of her hubby and son and this is what I came up with

very simple but I like it.

Look Who's 25!!

This card is a request from Sandra a friend at work.

She wanted to use this funny picture of her brother for his card (I hope he forgives her lol).

I framed the photo and matted to some navy card, the DP is computer generated by me, the sentiments are (top) computer generated, (middle) create with Tlc, (bottom) computer generated.

Finished off with some card candi and button, twine and an owl charm.

Hope he liked it.

Happy Mother's Day Nannan

I have woken up this morning with a terrible stiff neck, very annoying, on the plus side my Hubby is coming home today from working away, I miss him terribly when he isn't here but he has to go where the work is. Anyway enough of my rambling on today's card is a request from Sandra a friend at work, she wanted to send her mum a mother's day card with her son's photo on the card and this is what I came up with.

The Dp is from Me to you - Spring Chic, I have matted to some cream then teal CS, added a zigzag border with my MS punch, the sentiment strip is from Pink Petticoat and they are half price at the moment and the circle one is from Pink Gem Designs. The photo is mounted in a heart frame, I bought the frame from Ebay years ago so don't know who it is by sorry. I finished off with some pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid crafts, the sentiment below the frame is computer generated and arched.

Great Grandma

This card is a request from a friend at work, she wanted me to use a photo of her little boy Joshua on the card.

I have used papers from Dovecraft, some satin ribbon, a gorgeous orange flower.

The sentiment strip is from Pink Petticoat and the rest are computer generated by me.

More Snow OMG!!!!

OMG the snow is up to your knees here! I tried to take my dogs out and not a chance, they just disappeared and all you could see was their heads bless them, So they did there business and straight back indoors where it was nice and warm. I haven't seen snow like this in years, in fact it used to be like this when i was a kid. I will have to walk to work tomorrow and that will take forever. It is still snowing so lord knows what it will be like tomorrow.

Snow

This is what I woke up to this morning. And it's still snowing. It took me a good 2 hours to clear the drive and then it started again. It says on the forcast that more is on it's way tonight. All I can say is it's a good craft day!!
