Meerkats

Well it's absolutely glorious today in Sheffield, I was up at the crack of dawn to walk the dogs as Alfie struggles in the heat. I have done most of my washing so pleased and guilt free about crafting.

I have said this before about getting some strange requests for cards, This is a request from Ingrid for her mum and she absolutely loves Meerkats, well I was a bit worried because you don't get many of these in the crafting world, so I googled it and up popped this digi by Terri Sherman from card making downloads.

I have tried to make it as feminine as possible. I coloured the image with prisma pencils blended with sansodor and tim holtz ink for the sky, hand stitched around the image, The DP is from Papermania, I added a doily, scallop border and some lace, a crochet flower made by me, a cherry blossom flower and a butterfly, I meant to put some pearls on this but forgot. The sentiments are (top) little claires and the bottom one is computer generated by me.

Digi doodles shop DT card - Bingo CH108

We have a new challenge for you at Digi Doodles shop

For my card I have decided to go Diagonal with Lace - something new (my Digi) - flowers

My image is of course from Digi Doodles shop, it is called Cherry blossom, I have coloured in with pro and flex markers, added some GD and pearls to the centers of the flowers. I matted to some hot pink CS and hand sewed around the edge, then added the lace. The DP is from woodland folk. I finished off with some gorgeous flowers and a pearl brad, some extra pearls and a punched out MS butterfly. The sentiments are computer generated.

Vintage Lady

I'm not kidding it has been raining in Sheffield the whole of April and it's getting on my nerves now.

My dog Alfie doesn't like the rain and sulks when he has to go for a walk in it. My other dog Charlie loves it, talk about chalk and cheese lol.

This is a card I made for a friend for her mum who is 90 soon.

I don't know where the stamp comes from as I got these free images to play with when I bought a stamp from someone on Ebay, if anyone knows can you let me know because I want to buy them.

I have coloured with promarkers and sakura glitter pens, and embellished with GD. The BP is from Papermania. I used my MS punch to make the border and added some lace and seam binding tied in a bow. I added some feathers, handmade pins and flowers. The 90 is a sentiment from Ladybugcraftsink, the flower at the bottom left and that lovely metal spacer and pearl brad are from Lynne at the craft den.

I computer generated the top sentiment and finished off with some pearls.
