The scent of a vintage rose

Well I am posting this on my new laptop and I think I need lessons lol. Talk about frustration.

It's this new windows 7, I'm used to the old windows XP lol. Can't fault the laptop though, it's great, wish I had bought one before now.

Anyway enough of my waffling. I have made this card for my friend Sheryl, it's her mums birthday soon. I have used this image from a day for daisies called the scent of a vintage rose, she is coloured in with promarkers and I added pearls to the center of the flowers, matted to some pink CS and hand stitched around the edge. The DP is from first edition and dovecraft, I added a doily, some lace, tulle, some hand made pins, photo corners and that gorgeous flower, with some big metal spacers and pearl brad and the charm dangling down, just love the way this card came out.

By the way I have learnt the basics of crochet and you will be seeing a flower I have made on one of my cards soon, I'm so excited I've been wanted to learn for ages as the flowers are so expensive to buy.

For my card I have used this fab image called Babies Smile and I have used a frame from create with TLC to frame it. The image is coloured with promarkers and a little prisma pencil, I matted to some pink gingham CS, the DP is from Forever friends. I added a gorgeous ribbon and a pearl brad, some pink flowers and some pearls. The sentiment is from LOTV and this is matted to a die from memory box.
