MMCS ~ DT card CH35

We have a new challenge for you at My Mum's Craft shop, the theme is Keeping warm. The winner will get a £10 MMCS voucher woo hoo.

For my card I have used a Penny Johnson stamp called looking chic, I have coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils, matted to some green CS, the DP is Dovecraft, I have used a snowflake embossing folder on some red CS, then added some die cuts from Marianne design. Finished off with some poinsettia's with a brad in the centre and some gems, gingham ribbon and pearls.

Anything goes DT card ~ Cutting corners

We have a new challenge for you at Anything goes, this time the theme is cutting corners

For my card I have used an image from LOTV called Bringing gifts, I have coloured with promarkers and tim holtz distress ink, embellished with GD then I framed the image using my sizzix scallop frame die. The DP is from Dovecraft, I then used my nellie die cut fancy corner die on the corners of the DP and used the left over bits on the corners of the frame and the corners of the card and added some card candi and pearls, the sentiment is from LOTV. Most of the embellishments you can get from the craft den shop why not take a look.

Gingerloft Dt Card ~ Winter or Christmas

We have a new challenge for you at Gingerloft, we want to see winter or Christmas projects so this should be a popular challenge

For my card I haveused an image from gingerloft called winter trees, I have coloured with Papermania water colour pens and then went mad with the GD. I have framed the image using asizzix scallop frame die. The DP isfrom Dovecraft, I used a christmas word embossing folder on some white card, added some gorgeous ribbon from ladybugcraftsink, then finished off with some poinsettias, holly leaf, berries, some pearls and the sentiment is from LOTV.

CYDA ~ DT Card ~ Button or Bow

The challenge this fortnight at CYDA is Button or Bow, we are sponsored by Crafty Emma

I have chosen Button. The stamp I have used is from Ladybugcraftsink called I'm not asleep wrinkley, as soon as I saw this stamp I had to buy it, it is so my dad. I have coloured him with promarkers and sakura glaze pens, then cut out with a sizzix arch die and matted to some papermania DP also cut with the larger arch die. The DP I made myself, I have added a double scallop border, some twine and a basic grey button, some photo corners were also added, and a brown border at the bottom with 2 metal button tied with twine and the words DAD, the sentiments around the imeage come with the stamp so amazing value.

dearest dear

I have had this stamp ages and decided it was time to ink it up. It is called dearest dear by stampavie, Penny Johnson I think. I have coloured with Promarkers and embellished with GD and framed the image using a sizzix die. I have used Kraft CS as the base and stamped around the edge with Elzybells sentiment stamps. The DP is from forever friends I have matted this to some black CS, I added an embossed snowflake border

with some black gingham ribbon tied in a bow, then die cut the fancy tree and bauble using memory box dies and added some pearls, the circle sentiment is from LOTV and the other one is computer generated, finished off with a gold snowflake and dew drop.

LOTV Christmas card

I love LOTV stamps and I do have a lot in fact I have a lot of everything and I'm sure that sounds familiar lol. I coloured my image with promarkers and tim holtz distress ink then embellished with GD and fun flock, I have framed the image using a sizzix frame die and added a pompom ribbon border. The DP's are from Dovecraft and my local craft shop I added some red raffia and buttons, some card candi and a die cut reindeer, finished off with the circle sentiment from cats life press.

Uptown Girl

This card was a request from a friend at work. As soon as I saw these images come up on Paulabella's blog I knew I wanted the stamps, they are so gorgeous. I then searched the internet to see if I could get them in the UK and guess what YES you can from Quixotic paperie and so I had to get them all cos you just know they are gonna sell out and I would be kicking myself if they did. 

I have used a gorgeous green as the theme it made a bit of a change. The DP is from Nana's Nursery, I coloured her with promarkers and added some GD. I matted to some cream CS and then some more NN's DP, I added a scallop border and some organza ribbon and then the pearls. The sentiment strip comes from pink petticoat, the other sentiment comes with the stamp and the name is computer generated. The fabric yoyo I made myself with some templates I bought and I love them, they are so expensive to buy so I thought I would try and make my own, I have sewn a button in the centre.

Winter watering can

I love how this card turned out, it is such a beautiful image from Just inklined called Robin on a watering can. I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD and stickles and a sakura clear star pen, then hand sewn to some blue CS, the DP is from Dovecraft, I tied some white tulle in a bow and added a pearl, The snowflakes are made using a tim holtz on the edge die I added pearls to the centres, the other snowflake is a marianne die, finished off with a recycled bauble and the circle sentiment is from cats life press.

My Image is by pure innocence, she is colored with Spectrum Noir pens and embellished with fun flock and GD, I have matted to some pink gingham CS and added a stamped sentiment some pearls and a glitter snowflake and pearl.The DP is by Dovecraft. I added some lace and gingham ribbon, tiesd in a bow and added a bauble die cut from marianne. I added a doily and put pearls around the edge. I finished off with some sentiments from pink gem designs and Hobby paleis.

Blue & White Christmas

I just love these cute squares from LOTV, great when you need a quick card.  have used DP from a do crafts christmas pad, I embossed some white card then cut the corners off, matted to some navy CS, then jazzed the imege up with some GD and matted this to some navy CS, added a blue organza ribbon tied in a bow. Finished off with some dew drops, pearls and the sentiments are from the top computer generated, LOTV and Kanban.

Snowman Couple

This is another Christmas card I have made a few weeks ago. The Stamp is from Sugar Nellie. I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD, The DP's are from Dovecraft, I added some gorgeous ribbon from Ladybugcraftsink, a die cut christmas tree, a utton and twine and a flower with a brad in the centre. Finished off with some pearls and the sentiment is from LOTV.

80 years old

This card is for my friend Julie, her MIL is 80 next week. She wanted to use an old photo of her MIL but didn't want me using the original, so I scanned the photo and did a bit of editing and then re printed it out on photo paper and it came out amazing. I then matted to some black CS, made some doily borders with my MS punch and added some pearls. and a black sparkle ribbon. The DP I made myself. I made the flower and added a vintage button to the centre and then die cut the corner and added some pearls. The 80 sentiment is from ladybugcraftsink, the other one is computer generated.

Julie loved the card, she nearly cried bless her.

sweet little girl

This card was made a few weeks ago, I just love this image from Mo Manning, it's called in the bath, she is coloured with promarkers and spectrum noir pens, I have added some glossy accents and GD, matted tome gingham and plain CS, The DP is from scrapbooking mad, I have used my MS punch to make the border andded some lace and some pearls. Finished off with a photo corner, some buttons, twine and card candi. The circle sentiment is from the clipart fairy and the other one is computer generated.

Special Birthday

This card is a request from a colleague at work, her hubby rides horses and so she wanted that theme. I couldn't find an image so I emailed the lovely girls at Digi doodles shops best and asked if they could draw me an image of a man riding a horse and they said yes. So this is the card I created. I have coloured the image called cowboy & horse with promarkers, prisma pencils and tim holtz ink. I have matted to some black CS and added some photo corners. The DP is from Papermania, i added a green border, some twine and a button with a love charm attached, the 50 sentiment is from create with tlc, the other one is computer generated, finished off with some metal buttons.

MMCS ~ DT Card CH33

For my card I have used a digi from Elisabeth Bell, she is called Edens 2nd Christmas. I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with stickles, the DP's are from Dovecraft and pink petticoat, the tree die is a marianne, the snowflake dies are spellbinders and sizzix, I have added some tulle and tied in a bow, the circle sentiments are form pink gem designs and LOTV, I finished off with some pearl and the other sentiments are computer generated.

Anything goes challenge ~ A real sweetie

It's challenge time again at Anything Goes, this time the theme is A Real Sweetie.

For my 8 x 8 card I have used a LOTV image called Rosie with cake, the DP is from Dovecraft, I have punched a border with a scallop dot MS punch, added a pink gingham border some pink twine and a star button, attached some pearls and some ribbon lace. The image is coloured with promarkers, sakura glaze pens, embellished with GD, fluffy stuff and some small diamante gems, I cut out using nellie dies and x-cut dies, I embossed some white CS with a hearts embossing folder and then I coloured the hearts pink. I also die cut some pink foam with a sweet sizzix folder, the circle sentiment is from the clipart fairy and the other one is computer generated by me. Finished off with some more pink buttons.

Another Christmas card

I have another Christmas card to share with you today, I am cracking on with the orders I have received. I have enjoyed doing this one as it's very girly. The image is from the fab Di's digi downloads, I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with sequins, fun flock, GD and stickles, I have used a memory box christmas snowflake border die and added some pearls and stickles. The DP is from Docrafts and Nitwits, the sentiment strip is from pink petticoat. I have used several dies, the snowflake and tree are from mariannes as is the rose die and I have used felt and added a brad to the centre. I have used some felt pom pom ribbon aswell from the ribbon girl. the other sentiment is computer generated.

Gingerloft challenge ~ Felt, fabric or lace

We have another challenge for you at Gingerloft, this time we want to see felt, fabric or lace on your projects.

I have used felt on my card and I like the way it looks so will be using it again. My image is from Gingerloft called woodland snowman. I have coloured with promarkers, matted to some blue CS, the DP is from Dovecraft. I have used white felt to make snow hills and added some gorgeous iridescent sequins. I made the flower with felt and added some red beads, the threaded a red button with some twine and a charm and added to the centre. The sentiment is from my stash.

OSAAT challenge ~ Black and white

We have a new challenge for you at OSAAT, we would like to see black and white on your projects.

For my card  have used an image called Pink Polish from stitchybear stamps. I have coloured with promarkers and black sakura glaze pen, matted to some black CS, added some glitzy black ribbon and a handmade flower made from tissue paper and added a fancy button to the centre. Finished off with the sentiment.

This will be my last card for One Stitch at a time. I am stepping down from the DT. I have enjoyed every minute and the girls have made me very welcome, thank you for the opportunity I am very grateful.

CYDA challenge 33 ~ Embellishment bingo

It's challenge time again at CYDA, this time we have a bingo board for you to choose from, any 3 across, down or diagonal

For my card I have chosen Lace, Pearls and Pins, my image is from a Bratz colouring page, this is for a special little girl and that's what she wanted so who am I to argue. I have used paper from Cosmo Cricket, some pink gingham CS, I have coloured the image with Promarkers, matted to some gingham then cream CS and added pearls in the corners, I have pricked holes around the edge of the DP. I added a doily and again some pearls to the centres of the flowers, I added some ribbon lace, some tulle tied in a bow, a photo corner using a marianne die, and a love heart using a nellie die, I stamp the 11 today using a ladybugcraftsink set.

This is a card requested by my friend Kay. I have used a Karen's doodles image called Get well soon, I have coloured with promarkers, put faux stitches around the image and matted to some kraft then green CS, The DP is actually Christmas paper but I liked it for this card, I added 2 borders using my x-cut punch added some twine and a green button then tied a bow, the circle sentiment is from cuddly buddly, then rest are computer generated.

My card is a baby theme, the image is called Baby Cakes, she is coloured with promarkers and sakura glaze pen, cut out with a nellie oval die and I have threaded pink and white bakers twine through the holes. I have used a hearts embossing folder then coloured the hearts pink and matted to some pink gingham CS, added a pink ribbon and a puffy and pearl heart, then added the cream button and charm, the sentiment is from my stash and I have added some card candi.

CYP ~ DT Card ~ CH83 ~ Colour Challenge

For my card I have used papers from bearly mine designs called Cheery Days and the image is from Sassy studio designs called Cocoa Carol, I have paper pieced the chair with papers from the set, coloured Carol with promarkers, cut out with a circle punch and matted to a brown scallop circle. I added a brown gingham ribbon bought from my local market, a brown scallop border, some pearls. The sentiments are from Hobby Paleis and Create with TLC.

OSAAT ~ DT Card ~ Use a Digi

The challenge this week at One Stitch at a time is Use a digi, simple.

For my card I have used an image by Jess called Garden fantasy from Stitchybear stamps. I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD. The DP is from create and craft, I added a doily scallop border using a MS punch, attached some tulle and toed in a bow and threaded a pearl heart on. I used a pink gem designs fairy stamp in the bottom left corner, a scallop border at the top and some glitzy ribbon, finished off with some punched butterflies and pearls and a LOTV sentiment.

Loving couple christmas card

I'm cracking on now with my orders for Christmas cards.

This one is an image from Digistamp Boutique called Alex and Felicity, I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD and twinklets, sut out with a spellbinders die and then matted to some red CS also cut with the same spellbinders die, and added a ribbon from my offcuts. I have used DP from Dovecraft, used a scallop and pine punch to do the borders, added some red gingham lace, some red twine and threaded this through an olive button and and sentiment then tied in a bow, I added various snowflakes using my marianne dies, the poinsettia and holly leaf  I got from a friend who was going to throw them away so I snaffled them, I added a dovecraft brad in the centre. Finished off with some pearls, the sentiments are computer generated.

Me and my boat

A request from my friend Kay

This card is for a guy who is doing his boat up. This has been going around in my head for 2 weeks wondering what I could do. I decided I wanted to use DIY man from wild rose studio and I needed to find a boat, so I always check out colouring pages as they have some great images, this is the best one I could find. I have coloured the man with promarkers and the boat scene with prisma pencils and tim holtz distress ink for the sky, I have added a die cut fence which is coloured grey, I then matted to some grey then black CS, cut the man out and added him on for a 3D effect, I then added some raffia threaded through a button and added an anchor charm and the DIY tool brads and eyelet, an embossed photo corner and card candi. The words to the side are a stamp from Elzybells, this is matted to some black CS, finished off with the computer generated sentiments and some more card candi.

A request from a friend

I just love Maurice, he's from Pollycraft, I have coloured him with Promarkers and embellished with fun flock. I used a sizzix framlit arch die to cut him out and then used the bigger one to cut some Dovecraft DP, then matted both to some Kraft card, I added a spare bit of ribbon to the side. I added a brad, some red twine and a basic grey button and tied in a bow, finished off with some red card cnadi and the sentiments.

Never underestimate the warmth of a wet nose

I'm cracking on with my crimbo cards and enjoying it for a change, I don't feel so stressed this year, well not yet anyway. I have used another LOTV square, I'm loving these and I have just ordered some more as they are great value for money. I haveembellished the already coloured image with some GD, matted to some blue Mirror CS, the DP is from forever friends, the sentiment is from ginger house I think and the circle sentiment is from LOTV, I die cut the snowflakes using various dies and finished off with some pearls and blue gems.

LOTV Christmas card

This is a card request from my friend Antonia. I have used a LOTV square ideal for quick crimbo cards. These are already coloured so I put thistogether pretty quickly. I matted the image to some red mirror CS and added the circle sentiment which is from cats life press. The Snowflake DP I have had for 4 years, the other DP is from Dovecraft, i have added a red gingham border, added some red tulle tied in a bow and added a present charm, the top flower I got from Poundland, the bottom gingham flower I made using left over ribbon and added a red rose to the centre and stickled it up, finished off with a photo corner, some pearls and gems, the small circle sentiment is LOTV and the other one at the bottom is computer generated.

Special Mum

This is a card for my Daughter's boyfriend, his mum will be 50 soon, I have used my favourite stamp from Ladybugcraftsink called Martini Nikki, she is coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD and pearls. I cut her out with sizzix framlits oval and scallop oval, added a doily and some more pearls, a scallop border and somemore pearls, the DP is from Laura Ashley. I added a pink puffy heart, I made the flower with left over ribbons and added a pearl centre, the butterfly is die cut using a joy die and the sentiment is computer generated.

I just love this image, it is one of my top ten favourites, It's by mo manning and it's called door with wreath, I have coloured with prisma pencils blended with sansodor, chalks and sakura glitter pens, embellished with GD and twinklets, I have then matted to some DP and then red mirror CS and added a circle sentiment from LOTV. The DP is from Dovecraft, I have added a pine needle border at the top using my MS punch, I added some red twine a die cut snowflake and then threaded through the button and added a tree charm, the top sentiment is from pink petticoat, the bottom one from cats life press, I finoshed off with some small green buttons and a heart button.

I have used a Magnolia stamp called sleeping baby, she is coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD and I stamped a floral pattern around the image and distressed it a bit with tim holtx ink, I stitched around the DP and around the image, added a white scallop border and some cream ribbon, matted the image to a scallop circle and then matted to a doily, added some pearls, the sentiments are from my stash , I finished off with some more pearls and a gorgeous puffy heart.
