I decided to go with Sports and used this cute little digi called footballer, he is coloured with promarkers and a little prisma pencil, the sky is done using tim holtz distress ink, I have cut using spellbinders dies, the DP is from Wild rose studio, the ticket sentiments are from LOTV and the bottom one is catslife press, I finishedoff with some card candi and die cut stars and buttons.

MMCS - DT card - CH67 - Birthday girls

The challenge theme this week at MMCS is Birthday Girls

We are sponsored by My Mum's Craft shop

For my card I have used a Mo Manning image called Make a wish. She is coloured with spectrum noir pens and embellished with GD and fun flock for the dandelion clocks, The DP is from Dovecraft, I added some purple seam binding, a scallop border using my MS punch, the sentiments are from cuddly buddly and the one on the image is computer generated, I finished off with some pearls and a butterfly

Anything goes DT card - CH72 - Let's not be square

We have a brand new challenge for you at Anything Goes.

the theme is let's not be square.

I have decided to do a circle card, the first one I have done. I used my circle cutter and that went well but as soon as I decided to add my image and embellishments it started rolling to one side lol, so I chopped a bit off the bottom so it stayed in one place, I think I need lessons lol.

I have used an image from LOTV called Twice as nice.

I have coloured with flexmarkers and promarkers, added some GD and pearls, die cut with a circle nellie die and a x-cut scallop die then hand sewn around the edge. The DP is from First edition and Nana's Nursery. I have added a organza ribbon in white and tied in a bow. Some punched out leaves using a MS punch, a hand made fancy pin and a lilac flower and a doily. The sentiments are from pink petticoat, the one under the picture comes with the stamp and the love one is from studio G.

Natalies and amy's DT call

Sheffield United football card

This is a card I made for a friend at work

Sheffield United is the theme.

I used a digi from Just Inklined called football crazy, I have coloured with a mixture of promarkers and prisma pencils. The BP I made myself, The badge is wrapping paper matted to a MB die cut, I finished off with some punched out footballs, card candi and button and twine.

Moving Day and some news

This card is a request from a friend at work, this is the first time I have used this stamp from LOTV called Moving day, I have coloured with prisma pencils and blended with sansodor, die cut with spellbinders and hand stitched around the edge, the DP's are from Papermania and Dovecraft, I have added some lace and pink tulle. I used a lot of die cuts on here, the top left flower is a magnolia topped with one of my handmade crochet flowers then some bling, the gingham flowers are made using MFT Die-namics dies and the butterfly is a cheery lynn die, the sentiment is from Gingerhouse. I finished off with some pearls and a key charm.

Jellypark stamp spotlight

Every other week, between challenges the Jellypark Design team are spotlighting a particular stamp from the Jellypark store, and this week it is the turn of Girl Dressing Up.

I have coloured her with Promarkers, embellished with GD and pearls, die cut with Spellbinders.

The DP's are from me to you, I added a scallop border, some glitter ribbon and pearls, the flower is a cc designs die and the doily is a cheery lynn die.

CYDA - DT card - CH#50 - Shades of Grey plus one other colour

For my card I have gone with grey and blue, I have used a Magnolia stamp called Tilda with snow heart, she is coloured in with promarkers and I then die cut her with a spellbinders die floral ovals, I then added the GD, fun flock and some blue gems, the DP is from forever friends, I matted to some silver mirror card and hand stitched around the edge. I added some lace, organza ribbon and an organza bow with a heart charm attached, the sentiments are form my stash, the butterfly is from Cheery Lynn, I finished off with some pearls.

Digi Doodles Shop - Design team card - Anything Goes

I love to make mens cards and I have used a Digi Doodles shop image called Cruise'n, I printed on to Kraft card and I like this look, I matted to some black CS and added some photo corners, The DP is from dovecraft, I finished off with some twine, card candi and the sentiment from my stash.

For my card I have used digi's from Bugaboo of course, these cutie's are called Puppy love balloon (left) and Puppy love heart string (right).

I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD, the DP's are from Dovecraft, I die cut the flowers with felt using various marianne and cc designs dies, the charm is from Ebay. The sentiments are from cuddly buddly (top) LOTV ( middle) and the bottom one is a cheap 99p stamp from my local craft shop, finished off with some pearls.

Wedding card no2

Well this is wedding card number 2, pretty similar to the first one nice and neutral.

The image is from Nutcrafters called just married, I have coloured with a mixture of promarkers and prisma pencils, embellished with GD, matted to some cream CS and hand stitched around the edge, The DP's are from Papermania and first edition, I added a heart border using my MS punch, some lace and white ribbon tied in a bow, the heart doily is from Do crafts, I finished off with some pearls, roses, the crochet flower is hand made by me and I added a flower spacer and a pearl brad and heart charm to this.The sentiment is computer generated.

Jellypark Wedding Card

I have been asked to make 2 wedding cards for friends at work and this is the first one.

They are both quite similar in the colours, nice and neutral.

This one is using a fab Jellypark image called cute wedding couple, I absolutely love this image!

I have coloured with Promarkers and added some GD, cut out with spellbinders dies and matted them, then pricked holes around the cream CS. The DP's are from Papermania and First Edition. I added a heart border at the bottom using a MB die and then added the left over hearts around the image. The lace is from my local craft shop and I finished off with some pearls, pearl string, mulberry rose, my own crochet flower with some bling and that gorgeous heart charm bought from Ebay. The sentiments are from Pink petticoat and the date one and the bottom one are computer generated.

This is a request from a friend at work, for her Son.

The image I got online from a clipart site, I coloured in with Promarkers and added some glossy accents, matted to some blue CS and added the star fish beads. The DP is from forever friends retro collection, I added some raffia, twine, buttons, charm and card cansi to finish. The sentiments are computer generated apart from the circle one which is from LOTV.

Love this card, hope Rita likes it.

New release at Jellypark - Design Team project

It's new release day at Jellypark

For my project I have made a gorgeous tag. I coloured the image with Promarkers and added some GD, pearls and gems, I have added some broderie anglaise lace, glitter ribbon and added a heart border using my MS punch, finishedoff with some pearls and a double button threaded with twine and a love charm added.

We have as always a challenge running alongside this release and that is

Tractor

This card is for my friend Bill

His son in law is a farmer so wanted that theme.

I have used an image from Just Inklined called Tractor, coloured in with Promarkers and tim holtz distress ink. The DP is from woodland folk, the sentiments are computer generated and I finished off with some card candi and buttons.

The weather in Sheffield is glorious, I don't want to put the mockers on it, but long may it continue.

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats

Another card request from Caroline a friend at work.

Her Hubby loves the Wakefield Trinity wildcats and so wanted Daddy cool on her card.

The photo was provided by Caroline and I made the BP myself, the circle sentiment is from create with tlc and the rest are computer generated, finished off with some card candi.

Look Who's 25!!

This card is a request from Sandra a friend at work.

She wanted to use this funny picture of her brother for his card (I hope he forgives her lol).

I framed the photo and matted to some navy card, the DP is computer generated by me, the sentiments are (top) computer generated, (middle) create with Tlc, (bottom) computer generated.

Finished off with some card candi and button, twine and an owl charm.

Hope he liked it.

Country and weston

This is a card made for a friend at work, the theme was country & weston so I decided to go with this image from Karens Doodles called Line dancer gal 1, I coloured in with Promarkers and embellished with GD, pearls and crystals, I matted to some cream CS and hand stitched around the edge. The DP's are from Bo Bunny and my stash. The border was created using a NS scallop dot punch, I added some lace and red weave ribbon. The doily is from my stash, the pins are handmade by me, the sentiments are (top) catslife press, (bottom left) Hobby Paleis and (mum) is from Little claires, the yo yo flower was made by me and I sewed a button to the centre, finished off with some pearls and the red flower spray was from Hobbycraft.

Ordination Cards

These are a couple of ordination cards I did for a colleague at work.

The first one is a stamp from LOTV and the second I got the image online.

Anything Goes DT card - CH71 - relax with lavender & lace

It's Tuesday and that means we have another challenge for you at Anything Goes

The theme is relax with Lavender & lace 

For my card I have used one of the new Magnolia stamps from the Prince & princesses 2012 collection called Tilda with Ballet shoes. I have fallen in love with this stamp, she is gorgeous and I can see me using her often. I have coloured using Promarkers and embellished with GD and cut out with a nellie oval die, inked around the edge and then stamped the border using another Magnolia stamp from the sweet love collection. The DP is from Papermania, I have added a doily heart border using my MS Punch, added the lace and some lavender organza ribbon tied in a bow. The bottom of the card has been punched with a doily MS punch. I finished off with some flowers, sentiments, pearls and pearl trim, a hand made pin and punched out leaves.

CYDA - DT card - CH49 - Doilies and lace

The challenge this time at CYDA is Doilies and lace and has been set by Berit.

To me that means girly girly girly lol.

I have used a LOTV stamp called A special gift, she is coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils and I used a white sakura glaze pen for the dots on her dress. The heart embossing folder is from Papermania, I used my MS star punch for the border, some ribbon lace from Hobbycraft and the polka dot ribbon is from craftsulove. I added buttons to my doily, the photo corners are a MFT die as is the number 4, I finished off with a heart charm which is off an old earring, some buttons and pearls, the sentiments are computer generated.

DT card - Digi Doodles Shop- Sporting Life

This week's challenge at Digi Doodles shop is Sporting life

it's team Ruth's turn and we want to see anything sporty

For my card I have used this fantastic image from Digi Doodles shop called The jockey - lucky #7, I just couldn't resist making a scene, so I drew the rail and finishing post behind the horse and then coloured using Promarkers and prisma pencils for the grass, Tim holtz distress ink for the sky and a little sakura glitter pen for the hardware, The newspaper DP is from forever friends. I finished off with some card candi, the sentiment from LOTv and some twine and a button. 

It is a CAS card but I love it.

Just love this card, I think it is my favourite so far this year.

It's for a friends wedding.

The image is from LOTV called church on the hill.

I have coloured with prisma pencils and blended with sansodor, some images just look better coloured with pencils and I think this is one of them. I have used tim holtz distress ink for the sky and some black rainbow glitter for the stained glass windows, I cut out with a woodware punch and then matted to circle dies from x- cut and hand stitched around the edge, the doily is a cheery lynn die and I added some pearls to this, The DP's are from papermania and first edition I added a flower using a magnolia doo hickey die and added a rose to the centre, some cream lace and white ribbon tied in a bow was added nest and the border was created using my EK success punch, the butterfly is also a cheery lynn die and the heart is a memory box die and I added a gorgeous pearl heart to the centre bought from Ebay. Finished off with some pearl and pearl string and the sentiments.

Another Christmas card done for my stash.

I am trying to use stamps I bought ages ago and forgot about, you crafters know how it is lol.

The image is pepper and friends and the papers are from forever friends.

The border is a martha stewart punch and the heart, bow and flowers are from my stash, finished off with a sentiment from Pink Petticoat and some pearls.
